Tuesday July 8, 2008—Attempted robbery in Morgan Hill
On July 8, 2008, at 1:52am a strong armed robbery occurred at Monterey Rd. near Spring Ave. in Morgan Hill. A 58 year old male victim riding his bicycle on Monterey Rd. was approached by two males demanding money. When he refused, the victim was thrown off his bicycle and assaulted. The victim escaped, and the suspects ran away from the scene.
Morgan Hill Police officers later saw two men fitting the suspect's description walking through Terracina Apartments. A foot pursuit ensued, and a 17 year old male from Morgan Hill was detained and positively identified in the attempted robbery. The second suspect is still at large, described as a 19 to 20 year old male, light colored shirt, 5’10” and 150 lbs.
