Morgan Hill Downtown Association presents first annual Street Fair Series
Enjoy live music, dance in the street and catch up with friends, all in the heart of Downtown Morgan Hill…
Morgan Hill, CA: July 14, 2008: The Morgan Hill Downtown Association is proud to present Morgan Hill’s first ever Street Fair Series. The purpose of the Street Fair Series is to bring residents of Morgan Hill together for a fun outdoor event. The Street Fair Series was created to attract locals and visitors alike into the heart of Downtown Morgan Hill. East 2nd Street will be closed to thru traffic to create the perfect setting for a leisurely Saturday stroll through Downtown. This event gives the community an opportunity to congregate with their “neighbors”, grab a cup of coffee and chat, or dance in the street to the sound of our talented local musicians.
The Street Fair Series will take place on SATURDAY, JULY 19th and SATURDAY, AUGUST 16th on East Second Street in Downtown Morgan Hill. It will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Come out and pick up your fresh produce at Farmer’s Market then stroll on over to Second Street for a variety of live musical performances, eclectic jewelry, homemade dessert and much more…Along with this event, all the local businesses and restaurants will be open. Walk through Downtown and grab a bite at one of the many delicious restaurants, take a walk through the many unique shops Downtown has to offer. We look forward to seeing all of Morgan Hill at this event, let’s make it a success!
This event is produced by the Morgan Hill Downtown Association, a non-profit organization created to guide and manage revitalization efforts in the heart of Morgan Hill. For more information about this event, please contact Danielle Boulger at (408) 779-3190.
