Nov. 26, Thanksgiving Lunch Enjoy a freshly prepared Thanksgiving lunch with turkey and all of the trimmings in the Morgan Hill Senior Café. Centennial Recreation Senior Center, Senior Café, 171 West Edmundson. 12pm. $2.00 donation for adults 60+, $5.00 for adults under 60. Reservations appreciated. Nov. 28-Dec. 21, “La Virgen Del Tepeyac” San Juan Bautesta’s El Teatro Campesino presents a dramatization of the four apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe to the Indian messenger Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoctzin. This theatrical presentation of the 1531 miracle is a mixture of sacral theater, Aztec dancing and music. The play will be presented entirely in classical Spanish and Nahuatl (Aztec) with accompanying librettos for English-speaking audience members. The El Teatro Campesino playhouse is located at 705 4th St. in San Juan Bautista. Tickets are $14-$32. Visit www.elteatrocampesino.com for more information.

Nov. 29, Family Day at the Teen Center Youth and teens are welcome to bring their parents to hang out and enjoy the game tables in the Centennial Recreation Center, Teen Center. Dec. 4, The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce Toys for Tots Holiday Breakfast This fundraising breakfast will take place at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Rd, from 7:15am-9am. The event is sponsored by South Valley National Bank. $20.00.

Dec. 5, Kids Night Out This safe, fun-filled night out for kids takes place Friday and Saturday nights at the Morgan Hill Extreme Learning Center, 155 E. Main Ave. Activities include video and PC games, air hockey, ping-pong, food, foosball, karaoke, movies and more. Ages 5-17 are welcome, 6pm-10pm, no reservations required.

Dec. 6, Gavilan College presents "Grimm's Fairy Tales" The production will tell the stories of Hansel and Gretel, Briar Rose and Rumplestiltskin, among others. This production is an original adaptation by Dr. John Lawton Haehl and the Gavilan Community College Children's Theatre class. The play will be set in a magical, elaborate forest based on the illustrations of Arthur Rackham. Matinee shows are at 2pm and evening shows are at 7pm, both at the Gavilan College Theatre at 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd. in Gilroy. Tickets range from $12-$30.00 and can be purchased at the Gavilan Bookstore or BookSmart in Morgan Hill. For more information, call 408-846-4973.

Dec. 6, W. Craig Reed Book Signing The local author will sign and discuss his latest book, a fictional thriller titled “DNA,” at BookSmart on 80 E. 2nd Street in Morgan Hill. The event will take place from 2pm to 4pm. Visit www.mybooksmart.com for more information.

Dec. 6, Morgan Hill Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony The parade starts at 5:30pm in downtown Morgan Hill, beginning at First and Monterey and ending at the Community Center. The Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place at the Community and Cultural Center afterward. Following the parade and tree lighting, children can visit with Santa and his Magical Ship at the Cultural Center amphitheatre. Lana's Dance Studio will perform for visitors waiting to see Santa. If you are interested in entering the parade or volunteering at these events, call Parade Chair Barbara Kimmich at 408-612-2901.

Dec. 12, Clos LaChance Holiday Dinner This special holiday dinner at Clos LaChance Winery will be catered by Le Papillion. The winery is located at 1 Hummingbird Lane, San Martin, and tickets are $95. Reservations are required. Call 408-686-1050 for more information.

Dec 13, Gallery Walk and Artist Reception Pick up your walking map and visit 15 local San Juan Bautista art galleries from 1pm to 7pm. Painter Karen Garnett will be holding a free meet and greet while showing off her latest work. Town shops and restaurants will be open late. For more information visit www.CasaGalleria-Art.com.

Dec. 13, Annual Caroling and Candlelight Tour in San Juan Bautista Dress warm for this old-fashioned holiday tradition of strolling through downtown San Juan Bautista singing carols. Caroling will begin at 6:30pm, and refreshments will be offered at the State Historic Parks Plaza Hotel afterwards. The event is sponsored by the Historic State Park, Plaza History Association and the San Juan Bautista Chamber of Commerce.

Dec. 31, Black & White New Years Eve at Pedrizzetti Winery Morgan Hill Cellars and Pedrizzetti Winery will present their third annual New Years Eve Bash on Dec. 31from 8pm to 12:30am. This black tie event features wine tasting, hors d’oeurves, a champagne toast, live music by Spank, a countdown, balloon drop and favors. Tickets are $60-$65 and reservations are required.
