The Morgan Hill Police are inviting the general public to celebrate America’s Night Out Against Crime on August 4 from 6-8pm at the Morgan Hill City Hall.
The event aims to generate support for local anti-crime efforts, organize neighborhoods to take a stand to fight against crime, strengthen police and community partnerships and heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
There will also be free ice cream, patrol vehicles and a S.W.A.T. truck on hand for public demonstration, as well as a K-9 demo by Morgan Hill Police Officer Ray and Pax at 7pm.
National Night Out is a crime and drug prevention event that is sponsored nationally by the National Association of Town Watch, and is co-sponsored locally by the Morgan Hill Police Department.
