The Morgan Hill Planning Commission is meeting tonight, with the main order of business being an annual review of the Morgan Hill General Plan’s implementation this year.

The planning commission will discuss the Morgan Hill General Plan, reviewing what kind of progress has been made and preparing to present their findings to the Morgan Hill City Council at a later date.

First to be discussed on the meeting’s consent calendar will be a request by the Adams-Natt Veterinary Clinic for a two year extension on their conditional use permit for the vet hospital located on the northeast corner of Cochrane Road and Adams Court in Morgan Hill.

There are six items on the public hearings agenda. The first is a request for approval of a development agreement and schedule for a five unit single-family project located on Ginger Way and Rose Lane. The other five requests are for extensions of time on development agreements and schedules. Projects to be discussed include a 15-unit mixed use project at 17620 Monterey Road, the Lone Oak project on San Ramon Dr. and Barrett Ave, a 49-unit senior housing facility on E. Central Ave., a 134 unit townhouse project on E. Main Ave. and Butterfield Blvd, and the Del Monte Corners six-unit, multi-family residential project on Del Monte Ave and Christine Lynn Dr.

The last item to be discussed at the meeting tonight will be a presentation from the environmental programs staff on Morgan Hill’s participation in the Carbon Diet program, and how the community can continue to reduce carbon emissions.
