Nov. 7
Embezzlement, 1061 Cochrane Road, 4:31pm. Two former Target employees, Victor Kalata, 20, and Samantha Williams, 20, were arrested for marking down store items for each other and stealing approximately $300 worth of shoes, DVD’s and games from Target.
Battery, 825 E. Dunne Ave., 6:30pm. A male customer at the Chevron gas station reported that a man driving a red Harley Davidson motorcycle kicked his legs and battered him while he was at the pump.
Grand Theft, 16985 Church Street, 8:44pm. A resident reported that her boyfriend stole $500 in cash and a .22 rifle from her home.
Nov. 8
Burglary, 17735 Monterey Road, 9:32am. Owners of the Dari Delight Drive-In reported that the front window of their restaurant had been broken overnight, and that less the $100 had been stolen from the register.
Petty Theft, 1505 E. Main Ave., 9:42am. A student at Live Oak High School reported that their cell phone and cash had been stolen during their first period class. The phone had been used numerous times after being stolen.
Rape, 15900 Monterey Road, 9:49am. A citizen reported that they had been the victim of an attempted rape and sexual assault.
Auto Burglary, 182 W. Main Ave., 12:36pm. A resident reported that their car stereo had been taken from their 1977 Ford Bronco that day.
Burglary, 60 W. First Street #1, 3:42pm. A resident reported that their locked garage had been broken into, and recycle cans had been stolen.
Domestic Violence, 590 Landau Court, 10:09pm. Veronica Esquivel, 27, was arrested for assault after her niece called police, reporting a domestic incident between Esquivel and her uncle.
Nov. 9
Petty Theft, 235 Tennant Station Way, 1:26pm. The Safeway grocery store at Tennant Station reported that two 20-somthing suspects stole sandwiches from the deli. The incident was caught on a surveillance camera.
Warrant Arrest, 16117 Monterey Road, 5:56pm. Efrain Macario, 25, was arrested on a $5,000 prostitution warrant out of San Jose, after being pulled over in routine traffic stop on Monterey Road.
Auto Burglary, 18555 Butterfield Blvd., 9:01pm. A resident reported that their white Chevy Silverado had been broken into. The window had been popped open and a stereo, satellite radio and ipod had been stolen.
Nov. 10
Fraud, 225 Tennant Station Way, 2:16pm. Laurie Martinez, 45, was arrested for forgery after attempting to make a purchase with fraudulent checks at Jo Ann’s Fabrics and Crafts at Tennant Station. When the cashier tried to call the bank to verify her checks, Martinez fled the store. However, she had left behind her ID Card. She was arrested by police, who found out she had a $5,000 warrant for driving with a suspended license.
Nov. 11
Burglary, 25 W. First Street, 8:54am. Resident reported that their business had been ransacked and that a computer had been stolen. They believed that the burglar must have entered their business through a back door between 6:30pm and 8:50am the night before.
Vandalism, 15820 Jackson Oaks Drive, 12:42am. Resident reported that a decorative fountain and statue in their front driveway had been disturbed. The fountain had been knocked down, and the statue was put up in a tree.
Robbery, 310 E. Dunne Ave., 5:26pm. A resident of the Murphy Ranch Apartment Homes reported that their grandson had been “jumped” by another child, and that his scooter had been stolen.
Burglary, 60 Ciolino Ave., 5:57pm. A resident at Villa Ciolino Apartments called authorities and reported that her family had been the victim of a home invasion. She reported that her neighbors had “bashed” her daughters face with a rock. Arrested in connection with the incident was Mary Romero, 45, for public drunkenness, and Imelda Pena, 45, for trespassing. A 16-year-old juvenile who had been on probation for theft, battery and assaulting a police officer was also arrested for burglary in connection with the incident.
Nov. 12
Auto Burglary, 18555 Butterfield Blvd., 8:34am. A resident reported that their blue 1993 Ford Explorer was stolen overnight.
Drunk Driving, Cosmo Ave., 10:20pm. Patrick Samir Asfour, 32, was arrested in the area of Cosmo Ave. for misdemeanor drunk driving, driving with suspended drivers license and resisting arrest. The incident started as a common traffic stop, but escaladed into a foot pursuit after a large amount of crystal meth was found on the front seat of his car, by the arresting officer.
Nov. 13
Assault with a Deadly Weapon, 18340 Serra Avendia, 3:20pm. Julie Lopez, 20, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
Drunk Driving, Walnut Grove and Dunne Ave, 10:34pm. David D. Dileo was arrested for misdemeanor drunk driving after his blue 1990 Mustang hit a silver 2002 VW GTI behind the Safeway grocery store on Dunne Ave. Dileo also had outside warrants.
