MH Man Stabbed in Neck During Argument

A Morgan Hill man sustained stab wounds to his head and neck after he was attacked in his living room during a heated argument Wednesday night.

The victim, 49-year-old Ernest Lloyd Andrews of Morgan Hill, was being visited by a suspect later identified as Charles Rolen at his apartment at 16975 Monterey Rd. The two become involved in an argument at around 10pm. A struggle ensued and Charles Rolen pulled a knife out and began to stab Andrews in the head and neck.

After the stabbing, Rolen fled the victim’s residence and gave evidence to a second suspect, identified as 26-year-old Michael Rolen of Morgan Hill. The two hid the evidence from police at an undisclosed location near Spring Ave.

After police contacted him at his apartment, Andrews was brought to San Jose Regional Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and remains in stable condition.

Both identified suspects were later located and arrested by Morgan Hill Police for attempted murder. They were transported to Santa Clara County Jail.
